Gardeners for God
Gardener’s For God (G4G) is a group of children, women, and men   who come together as a group, as families ,  and individually to plant, fertilize, mulch, and maintain the gardens at Jenkins Memorial Church. No experience is necessary just a desire to learn.  We have highly experienced gardeners who are willing to share their time, plants, and knowledge with others who have questions!     There is  a spring   and a fall  group   work day when  about 30 people come together to work the gardens , prune the smaller trees/shrubs,   and fellowship with each other.  The rest of the year the various gardeners care for their chosen  garden as their area needs their TLC .  Tools and supplies are   available. Some gardens are mature gardens while other areas are seeking a creative gardener to take   care of them. We also have  identified  biblical plants,  a children's garden,   and a memorial garden.

Jenkins Men In Christ
“A Band of Brothers on a Great Adventure”
Awesome Fellowship
Authentic Biblical Manhood
Jenkins Men In Christ (JMIC) is our Christian ministry to men. As an integral part of Jenkins Memorial Church, our purpose is to help men start or continue their journey toward authentic Biblical manhood. We are “A Band of Brothers on a Great Adventure” striving to become better equipped for Spiritual service in the church, home, community and workplace. JMIC is an all-inclusive ministry to men which is here to serve, stretch your faith, offer accountability, and provide awesome fellowship.
BECAUSE you are a man pursuing Christ, you ARE a Brother and you’re ON a Great Adventure!
Come join us as we learn to grow in the life which God has planned for each of us.
The Saturday morning video Bible study group meets in the “Man Cave” at 7:00AM for coffee, bagels/donuts (or bring your favorite) and fellowship; program starts at 7:30, we usually end the program no later than 8:30AM.
Our monthly planning meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00PM. We usually meet in the “Man Cave” for the purpose of discussing and planning future events, programs and recreational activities.

Recorded Services Ministry
The weekly recording of morning services and distribution to shut-ins and out-of-town friends has been an ongoing ministry at Jenkins for a number of years. Recently these recordings that had been offered on now-obsolete cassette tape format have been produced using the more modern audio compact disk (CD) medium, which is more universally acceptable to home sound equipment. These CDs are available to anyone wishing them at no charge.
Request forms for the CD ministry are available in the narthex. There is also a box with extra copies of past services free for the taking.
For individual special requests, see Ken Stuart or Art Bucklew. Or, simply fill out one of the forms.
